Day Ten or....
Splash!
I think Katya will tell you the highlight of her day was swimming, but let me start at the beginning.
After breakfast, we drove to the Shelter to pick up Katya. As usual, she was waiting at an upstairs window, waiting for our arrival. I hear "Mama" coming above and see a hand waving out the window.
We drove to the Children's Cafe, where we had a repeat of playing with balls and slides and other children. We dined on pizza, french fries, juice and of course, ice cream.
We came back to the hotel for a little quite time. Katya and I played cards while Cameron had a nap.
At 4:00, Katya, Cameron and I put on our swimsuits, and went downstairs for a swim. Both my children are natural born fish, and love the water! Even though Cameron was shivering, he wanted to stay in the pool. I wish we had pictures!
The it was upstairs to change. We played some music and Katya learned to play solitaire on the computer.
Before we knew it, it was time to take Katya back so she could have supper at the Shelter.
The three of us returned to the hotel for dinner.
Things are going so well for us right now. Katya loves to give and receive affection. She seems to enjoy tidying things up and is very neat. We are blessed with a very sweet, loving child.
Da Zhaftra! (Until tomorrow!)
