Pictures of Our Girl!

A traveling family sent two pictures of our KJ this weekend. She is so beautiful. We had emailed the family and had asked if they would inquire about seeing her. They reported that KJ is lovely and were able to give her some candy. She looks so much like Cameron and they both look wonderful in blue!

Tom talked to Cindy with our agency. She says everything is okay, no problems. We should get our travel dates this week or next week and travel 7-10 days after that. We're looking at a mid-March departure date. Right now, it appears that there is a 3 week wait inbetween trips.

We hope to order a notebook computer tonight, I hope it arrives on time!!

Where Could the Travel Fairy Be?

Still no word about our travel dates. Jim told me last Friday he'd ask the Sisters for an estimate, but I've not heard anything back. Our dossier has been out of the Embassy for 5 weeks now. I was so sure we'd hear something by now.

Cameron and I went to Chuck E. Cheese this morning and had a great time. Two hours without me thinking ONE time about our trip and lack of travel dates. Guess I should think of somewhere for us to go tomorrow too!!!!

Shelter Shower

Last night we held a "shower" at church in honor of KJ. We hoped to raise money to take to spend on the children at KJ's orphanage. We had a wonderful turnout. We felt so blessed by the number of people who showed up and expressed how much they want to support us.

Because of their generosity, we will be taking a ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR donation with us to the Shelter!

Now, if we would just get those travel dates!!

It Could Be!

The mom didn't see the girl today. But, she received the photo I sent, and she still thinks the girl is our KJ. She promises that if she sees her, that she'll hug her and tell her that the hug is from her Mama, Papa and brother!

Maybe tomorrow? It's currently 4:20 a.m. Tuesday morning. So stay tuned!

Is it KJ?

The mom who is in Petropavlovsk left me a note today on her Blog. There is a girl who stands in the hallway every day when the mom arrives and is there when she leaves. The mom feels as the though she is trying to make sure she is noticed. The mom thinks it may be our KJ, and has connected her photo album with the American mom who is there. I've emailed the mom a picture of our KJ and the mom is going to try and ask her name tomorrow morning. I am so hopeful that this little girl is our daughter!!

I am Blessed!

Beyond measure! To my wonderful friends at FT, THANK YOU!

Yesterday, I brought home a HUGE box from the post office. The box had instructions on it that I wasn't to open it until Tom got home. Somehow I made it!

Tom got home and we opened a box. Inside was everything for a Virtual Big Girl Shower, from my friends here! I couldn't read the beautiful card without crying.

It was the most wonderful evening ladies! Tom took pictures, as instructed and I have put them in a photo album to share.

You'll also find some pictures of KJ's room and dress I bought her for court.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you special ladies. You'll never know how much it meant to me. It came just when I needed it too. I don't know what I would do without my FT Friends. Your friendship and support are priceless.
