Day Fourteen or...
Full Monti
After picking Katya up at the Shelter, we went to the Iceberg to develop our pictures and get some more groceries. We returned to the hotel and hung out until it was time for lunch at 11:30 a.m.
We had ordered Katya's favorite dish, Monti. Monti is large dumplings filled with spicy meat. It is served with either a spicy sauce, ketchup, or mayonnaise. I also had the Monti. Marina had liver with onions and sour cream. Tom had a pork chops with nuts on top. Cameron had corn, peas, and mashed potatoes.
After lunch, we came back to the hotel for a nice nap. Even Katya took a short nap. I guess we were all tired!
After our naps, we had some ice cream, before heading down to the basketball court. We brought our ping pong paddles and balls with us. The table was being used, so we improvised and played against the wall and used the floor as our table.
We returned to our room, and we put in the movie "Mulan" for Katya to watch. It is dubbed in Russian with English subtitles. Katya had seen it one time before, and enjoyed watching it.
Marina had to leave with her early, as she is taking Katya to have passport photos taken. We'll see Katya again at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow.
